My Love Affair With Tyrosine

I have quite an unusual experience with tyrosine. Hence, the weird title that you are seeing here. Before this experience, I want to tell you something about prednisone. I was put on prednisone for about three months because I was told that if I wanted to feel well, I would need to keep taking it. I was encouraged to continue taking it because it would make me feel much better.

But what I felt was completely different, I felt much worse than before. So obviously, I ditched it completely. Then I tried to do everything I can to feel better naturally. Eating right, staying positive, exercising, pretty much everything I could think of. But still, I got no relief and had no energy at all.

About tyrosine

Then, I found out about tyrosine, and how it had major success with depression and low energy levels. If you didn’t know already, tyrosine helps regulate the thyroid in the body and adrenal hormones, ultimately restoring norepinephrine levels and increasing dopamine production.

The result has been amazing so far. I feel much better than before, and I can feel the effects of tyrosine within 30 minutes of taking the 1000 mg dose. Of course, I am surprised by this amazing result, especially after trying various supplements, which took days or even weeks to take effect.

Now I am in love with tyrosine. I can feel positive again, and haven’t found anything else that can replace it. I can’t take other energy supplements anymore; tyrosine is the only one for me. Furthermore, I don’t feel irritable or shaky at all. The energy that I get from tyrosine is “calm” energy, for the lack of a better word. My mind and body are energized and revitalized, but at the same time also calm and focused.

Adrenal fatigue symptoms

From what I have read and observed, tyrosine is great for people with adrenal fatigue. If you are one of these people who have tried anything else with no results, try tyrosine. Some symptoms of adrenal fatigue that you should be aware of are:

  • Crying fits
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Dark circles under the eyes
  • Dizziness
  • Low back pain
  • Tired even after sleep
  • Irritable
  • Increased energy in the evenings
  • Unable to handle stress (nervous breakdown)
  • Lowered immune function
  • Late-night cravings
  • Intense PMS
  • Weight gain
  • Bloating
  • Nervousness
  • Dry skin
  • Tension
  • Dehydrated easily and often

Some factors in your life may cause adrenal fatigue, such as smoking, major life events, caffeine consumption, high-stress level, and not enough sleep.

Try tyrosine if…

If you are wondering whether you should try tyrosine or not, try looking at some of these examples.

  • You just started to quit smoking
  • Recovering from a drug addiction
  • You suffered from a traumatic experience
  • Starting your journey to cut back on sugar consumption
  • You love coffee or alcohol but do not want to feel groggy and nervous
  • Living a stressful life

Some medications for anxiety or depression could also negatively affect your life. Tyrosine could also help you with this by elevating your mood and helping your brain produce enough dopamine. Please remember to consult this with your doctor first.

Some other benefits that can be what you are looking for are easing symptoms of PMS, easier weight loss, relieving stress, and easing the withdrawal symptoms from cigarettes and caffeine.

What about the dosage?

1000 mg is what I can recommend for now. You can take this dosage early in the morning. Keep in mind that tyrosine is best taken on an empty stomach. If you are about to eat, try to take tyrosine 30 minutes before. As for the brand, you can pretty much try any brand that you like. The more reputable the brand is, the better. Some brands might be better for you than others, so don’t be afraid to try new brands.

My affair with tyrosine has improved my life quality. I really can’t imagine what my life would have been if I hadn’t learned about tyrosine. Therefore, I can recommend it to anyone who is suffering from adrenal fatigue or other ailments I mentioned above. If you are already on some kind of medication, then you should consult this matter with a doctor first.
