Afternoon Beachside Beers on the Sunshine Coast

Good day,

After playing a round at the Pelican Waters Golf Club, I made my way to Twin Waters with my new friend Mike from Visit Sunshine Coast. It was a sunny afternoon and we decided to hit the beach and see what’s happening. I do regret not taking Mike up on going surfing but I’ll have to make up for that some other time. Long story short, I really got a feel for this place and see why it’s so sought after.

I could start rambling but I’m going to try and refrain this one time. Just look at the pictures I snapped while sipping on beers at a bar beside the beach on a sunny Friday afternoon. To my left was a pretty sweet skatepark getting good use and in front of me, endless beach with surfers riding waves. Besides that there were people jogging, walking and straight up chilling on the seawall.

At this moment I started to reorganize my plans to spend another week or so here before heading back. I’m not sure if it’s going to work out but see the reason why so many people go to Australia and never leave. It really is the best of both worlds in regards to natural blessings and living standards. I think the Sunshine Coast would make an amazing stop each year for 2-3 months to do web work and surf everyday…

What’s not to like? I’d go on but it’s Saturday night and I’m off for dinner and a drink.

Tomorrow is Australia Day and really looking forward to “getting involved”. In closing, big thanks to Tourism and Events Queensland as well as Visit Sunshine Coast for giving me a glimpse of what life is like here.

Tips hat,
